Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi (1852-1926) designed some of the world’s most astounding buildings, interiors and parks; Japanese director Hiroshi Teshigahara made some of the most aesthetically audacious films. Here their combined artistry results in a visual poem as viewers are taken on a tour of Gaudi’s striking architecture, including his massive, still unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona. The bold camera work brings Gaudi’s work alive.
Director: Hiroshi Teshigahara
