This tragicomedy about love, life and death is set in Jeevan Jyoti, a hospice for the terminally ill, where a cultural event on Founder’s Day is being planned. Dr. Dave, Shanti and some of the patients decide to perform a play written by an inmate who died of AIDS-related cancer. It’s a farce set in an airport hotel. Awaiting their flights, the characters get comically entangled in romantic dalliances. As they rehearse, they discover similarities between themselves and the characters they are playing. It seems as if the dead playwright was speaking to them of life and death through the metaphor of flight arrivals and departures. The playwright appears and a love story unfolds that crosses all boundaries.
