Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux’s Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet comes to Mumbai after a sensational run on Broadway and West End. On 4th December 1956, music producer Sam Phillips brought Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis together for an impromptu jam session at Sun Records Studios in Memphis, where they recorded some of the biggest rock ‘n’ roll hits of all time. This is the story of that night. Brought to life by director Ian Talbot with a score of 20 classic numbers, including ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, ‘Hound Dog’, ‘Great Balls of Fire’, ‘I Walk the Line’ and more, Million Dollar Quartet is a brilliantly crafted play with all the energy of a rock concert.
