Dr Mukesh Batra, well-known homeopath and author, returns with his sixth exhibition of photographs. What began as a hobby, photographing family and friends, has grown into a fulfilling form of creative expression. It’s also a philanthropic gesture as all the proceeds from his exhibitions go to the Happy Home and School for the Blind and People for Animals. His earlier exhibitions won popular acclaim. His first attempts were published in the Afternoon Despatch and Courier. Then Citibank hosted his first show. Some of those pictures grace the bank’s Mumbai and Delhi offices. Photographer Atul Kasbekar ‘coached’ him on cameras and techniques, providing his work a further impetus. Even the titles of his shows, like ‘Celebrate Life’, ‘Vision of Hope’ and ‘Colours of Life’ seem to send out a positive message.
