Rhythm is fundamental to existence.
Life-Cycle: birth, youth, old age, death and re-birth
Rhythmic sequences in Nature: diurnal time cycles and seasons
Cosmic avartans: from the energy centre outwards to creation and back through dissolution
Recurrence is the imprint of these grand designs.
Rhythm has no beginning, no end………..

This unique solo concert captures the multi-talented genius of world-renowned tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, as he creates magical patterns of rhythm across a vast canvas of time and space.

To enhance the aesthetic experience, parts of the exposition will be accompanied by visuals.

Sarangi accompaniment: Sabir Khan
