Short+Sweet, the largest 10-minute play festival in the world, that opened in Australia a decade ago, and now performs successfully every year in Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand, begins an exciting new chapter with the launch of the first ever Short+Sweet Mumbai.
The festival will showcase the best original, 10-minute plays from Mumbai, as well as from across India and abroad, and will be presented by local actors and directors who form a part of Mumbai’s vibrant theatre community including pieces directed by Lillete Dubey, Akarsh Khurana, Meeta Vashishth, Utkarsh Mazumdar, Shivani Tanksale and others. The 20 plays in the festival cover a wide variety of themes, styles and genres, ranging from comedy and drama to romance and fantasy.
