Tata Literature Live! – The Mumbai LitFest
Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th – 10.30 am onwards
The annual Mumbai international literary festival returns to the NCPA. In its eighth year, Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest is bigger and better than ever, with prize-winning authors and performers. Some of the writers in the festival are Dame Margaret Drabble, one of the literary world’s biggest names; A. C. Grayling, professor of philosophy at London University (The God Argument); Tom Friedman, celebrated author of The World is Flat; Glenn Lowry, director of MOMA, New York; Marcus du Sautoy, author of What We Cannot Know and Professor Homi Bhabha of Harvard. Among writers from India there are P. Chidambaram, Shashi Tharoor, Nayantara Sahgal, Y. V. Reddy (former RBI Governor, now out with a memoir), Devdutt Pattanaik, Alan Sealy and Kiran Nagarkar.
Entry free on a first-come-first-served basis. Daily passes can be collected from the Experimental Garden from 10.00 am on Thursday, 16th November.
