Twelve incredible plays scripted by 12 imaginative minds come together for one unique festival—Writers’ Bloc.

Writers’ Bloc is an initiative by Rage to identify and nurture promising playwrights. Of the 104 contenders from all over India, 12 playwrights were identified to be trained by the best in the business—The Royal Court Theatre, UK. With major support from the British Council and the JSW Foundation, and with expert training provided by the Royal Court, these 12 playwrights worked for one year on developing new and exciting plays.

And Writers’ Bloc is where they will be staged for the first time. Mumbai’s finest talent, along with brilliant theatre groups from Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi, will share with you these stories over a 10-day festival.

Brijesh Arora has a rare gift—his body produces special semen. Now whether this bodily is a miracle or not, depends on your point of view. For Brijesh, it could keep him going till fame and fortune come calling at his door. For Pallavi, it could inadvertently help her maintain the custody of her daughter. But for Anjali, it could mean more... much, much more.
