Jamshed Bhabha Theatre (1,109 seats), inaugurated in November 1999, is equipped with modern stagecraft and engineering suitable for staging large-scale cultural events such as multimedia music and dance programmes, opera, ballet and orchestral concerts. The Indian premiere of Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly, produced by the NCPA, was staged here in 2008.
