Rehearsal Rooms
The NCPA has several versatile spaces for rehearsing and developing work.
Tata Theatre
The aptly named Sea View Room in the Tata Theatre has an area of 82 sq m. It is usually used by theatre companies for rehearsals or workshops.
Jamshed Bhabha Theatre
The Jamshed Bhabha Theatre has four spaces that can be used for rehearsals of plays, music and dance, or for small conferences and meetings. Each has access to an attractive terrace, most with sea views.
These rooms are configured as follows:
- West 1: 124sq m with a 90 sq m adjoining open terrace
- West 2: 115sq m with a 50 sq m adjoining open terrace
- East 1: 113.5sq m with a 55sq m adjoining open terrace
- East 2: 99 sq m with a 32 sq m open terrace
