Sahachari
Sahachari, which translates as “Women Walking Together”, is a charitable foundation established by eleven dynamic ladies from Mumbai, each of whom has made a mark in her chosen sphere. Through their collective strengths and resources, they are committed to raising funds that support a range of socially engaged activities.
Sahachari's distinctive approach encourages entrepreneurship and promotes creativity while remaining committed to its philanthropic objective, thereby effectively connecting with all stakeholders in its pursuit of an inclusive society. By bringing together several streams to flow in a spirit of unison, Sahachari stays true to its name.
Sahachari was launched in January 2009 in conjunction with Leela Samson's Charishnu at the NCPA. The group's founder members are Minakshi Bajaj, Sheela Bhogilal, Parul Choksey, Mala Goenka, Pallavi Kanoria, Brinda Khatau, Nilima Kilachand, Daksha Mehta, Lakshmi Nair, Gauri Pohoomul and Madhu Ruia.
Look out for the specially designed events that will be held at the NCPA in collaboration with Sahachari.
The NCPA is a registered charity and donations are exempted by law under Section 80G. The Registration number with the Charity Commissioner’s office is F-1397 (BOM) dated 30-06-1966.
All donations are exempt from income tax as per the current Government of India laws and we will give you the relevant ATG Certificate in view of your donation.
