Step into a room full of images—and leave with pages full of words. In this ekphrastic writing workshop, we’ll explore the space where visual art meets language. Many poets and writers like Sophie Calle, Victoria Chang, WH Auden have been inspired by art and we will take a leaf from their practice. Through guided prompts, close looking, and imaginative exercises, we will write poems, prose fragments, or short reflective pieces in response to selected photographs and artworks on display at the Slowing Down & Moving Around: Experiments in Cyan exhibition.
No prior writing experience is necessary—just your curiosity, and a willingness to linger.
