An NCPA Off-Stage Presentation in collaboration with Soho Theatre

Supported by Bajaj Beyond

The Edinburgh Comedy Award winner, Ahir Shah, comes to Mumbai to present his award-winning stand-up show Ends. The show—about family, immigration, marriage, history, politics and beans—spans six decades, three generations and two continents, synthesising the past and present in search of hope for the future. It may not sound funny, but it actually is. Author Stephen Armstrong has called it the “most important stand-up of the year, if not decade.”

It was first performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe as a work-in-progress and slowly garnered recognition by word of mouth, culminating in Shah winning the Don and Eleanor Taffner Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2023. Shah can be seen on Mock the Week, The Mash Report, QI, Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Have I Got News for You, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and his own HBO and Netflix specials.

Starring: Ahir Shah
