Gujarati Musical Talk Show & Folk Dance (135 mins)

The great exponent of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna is one of the most powerful incarnations of Vishnu, the Godhead of the Hindu Trinity of deities. Of all the avatars of Vishnu, he is the most popular, and perhaps of all Hindu gods, the one closest to the heart of the masses. Krishna has influenced not only its religion and philosophy, but also its mysticism and literature, painting and sculpture, dance and music, and all aspects of Indian folklore. The presentation will talk about the life, times and philosophies of Krishna and his relevance today, and will include folk music of Gujarat and bhajans of Krishna. Kaajal Oza Vaidya is an author, screenwriter and radio personality from Ahmedabad, India. She initially worked as a journalist and actress. She has written more than 56 books including novels, short stories and essays. She writes columns in several publications and hosts a radio show. Her very famous book  based on the life of Krishna, is hugely popular.
