Workshop Details

Get a taste of the incredible all-encompassing art form of musical theatre, where the actor is also the singer and the dancer, all at once, live! In these participants will act, sing and dance to some of Broadway’s greatest classic and contemporary hits, culminating in a performance for the public

Conducted by: Krystal Kiran
A Broadway “Triple Threat” (actor-singer-dancer), Krystal Kiran is a performer, director, choreographer and educator. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 19 in AR Rahman and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of ‘Bombay Dreams’ in New York City. Other shows include Rahman’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Jai Ho’ World Tour; Mira Nair’s ‘Monsoon Wedding’; Gurinder Chadha’s ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, and other several classic Broadway musicals such as ‘West Side Story’ and ‘Brigadoon’. In Canada, Krystal choreographed ‘Matilda The Musical’ and Georges Bizet’s ‘The Pearl Fishers’ at Vancouver Opera. She currently serves as Musical Theatre & Dance faculty at AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai and continues to teach, create, and perform internationally.
