“Art Blakey once said that jazz has to be ‘danceable and have the blues.’” This could be Ben van den Dungen’s musical motto. He has been on the jazz scene for years and has made 80 albums and played around 5,000 concerts in 70 countries. The quartet plays a swinging, happy sound that is undeniably jazz.
