An NCPA Presentation in collaboration with Furtados
Saturday will begin with Alessandro Marcello’s Adagio for Oboe and Strings. After the voice competition finals, the programme will transition into 20th-century Italy with a neoclassical flute sonatina composed by Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Up next, Ottorino Respighi’s Quintet for Piano and Strings will be presented—an early work by the composer known best for his orchestral tone poems. The evening will close with a choral tribute to Giovanni Palestrina, presented by the Newman Choir, in honour of his 500th birth anniversary.
Box Office now open.
