Having worked with and inspired by musical giants including Zakir Hussain, the late U. Shrinivas and John McLaughlin, Ranjit Barot continues to explore the ‘meeting point’ of music and cultures.

The Grammy awardee maestro of mohan-veena (Hindustani avatar of the slide guitar), Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, has a virtuousity that is unparalleled. His vocabulary spans the worlds of both Indian classical and jazz / world music, which has resulted in numerous pathbreaking cross-cultural collaborations.

Mohini Dey, the young electric bass player prodigy, has already carved a formidable name for herself in the world of contemporary music. She is constantly challenging musical definitions and all this, well before the age of 20.

With strong roots in Hindustani and western classical music, Gulraj Singh is a bright young star on the musical horizon. As a vocalist and keyboard player he has lately made explorations into Sufi and Contemporary Indian styles.

This vibrant musical quartet dominated by string instruments, will create rich and exciting soundscapes.
