Multi-Disciplinary Contemporary Dance – Prime by Avantika Bahl & Troupe

Avantika Bahl is a contemporary dance practitioner and educator based in Mumbai. Her work focuses on creating inclusive performances that expand access and visibility within the performing arts. She has presented her choreographic works at major festivals across India and has been commissioned for both large-scale and community -based projects. As an educator, she engages with children and early -career professionals , fostering process-oriented creative inquiry. Avantika also works as a dramaturg on dance projects and has curated for Viewpoint, a platform supporting emerging artists. In recognition of her contributions, she received an award from KCC, Kolkata, in 2022.
