Violinist and violist Domenico Nordio gave his first recital at the age of 10 and was hailed as a child prodigy. A multifaceted artiste and leading performer of contemporary music—many pieces have been dedicated to him—he has played on the most prestigious stages across continents, both as a soloist and chamber musician.

This is his fourth visit to India, a country he loves for the vitality of its audiences and its deep respect for music and musicians.

In his solo violin recital, he will perform a virtuosic programme featuring works by Weinberg, Reger and Say, as well as the absolute masterpiece of the violin repertoire: Bach’s Partita in D minor, which includes the famous Ciaccona.
