Dr. G. Ratheesh Babu is an Indian classical dancer, choreographer and educator, renowned for his mastery of Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam and Carnatic music. With a career spanning over 35 years, he has made a significant contribution to the propagation and teaching of classical dance forms across India and internationally. He is the founder-director of Nrithyathi Kalakshetram and holds the titles of Natya Choodamani and Nritya Kala Bharathi, among others. He has been awarded two doctorates in the field of Indian classical dance and is an empanelled artiste of ICCR and has performed extensively in India and abroad.

Vande Jagat Guru is a spiritually evocative Bharatanatyam production that pays homage to Lord Krishna, celebrated not just as a deity of divine love and mischief, but as the Universal Teacher—the Jagat Guru. The production draws its title and inspiration from Krishna’s role as the ultimate guide, the fount of wisdom and compassion.

Arushi Mudgal has trained under her aunt, Madhavi Mudgal, at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in New Delhi. Empanelled with the ICCR and Doordarshan, she conducts dance workshops worldwide and performs regularly for SPIC MACAY. She has co-authored a book on the aesthetics of Odissi dance along with senior scholar and aesthetician, S.K. Saxena, which has been published by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. Mudgal is a recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, the Young Women Achievers’ Award by FICCI, the Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Yuva Pratibha Samman, the President’s Bal Shree Award and the Touring Fellowship from Milapfest, UK.

Athaah, meaning boundless, draws upon the endless depth of tradition—like the vastness of the ocean, ancient yet ever alive. Through original choreographies, Athaah explores and reimagines the classical Odissi repertoire, weaving new expressions while staying anchored to its essence.
