The santoor, originally a folk instrument from Kashmir, is now a well-established instrument, not only in the field of art music but also in the world music arena. Rahul Sharma is an heir apparent to the rich musical legacy of his father, Shiv Kumar Sharma. Rahul’s innovative collaborations with Grammy winners Kenny G and Deep Forest have taken the santoor to a top position on the jazz Billboard charts in the U.S.

Besides Rahul Sharma and his santoor, the group includes Avinash Chandrachud (keyboard), Vinayak Pol (drums) and Aditya Kalyanpur (tabla) along with a bass and electric guitarist.

(Names of these two artistes will be shared shortly)
