Set in Mumbai, all the five central characters in the film are thick as thieves and share a common passion for football. Their world of adventure comes crumbling down when a trivial incident triggers the local welfare body to ban them from playing at their regular venue. The absence of space to play the game, which is used as a metaphor to showcase the escapist attitude of big-city dwellers, is the catalyst that conjures up a storm in the domestic lives of these friends.
