Global Groove is a unique collaborative concert bringing together the JuBand Children’s Ensemble from the Republican Kazakh Specialized Boarding Music School and the students of the SOI Music Academy Orchestra. This special musical encounter unites young musicians from two rich cultural traditions in a vibrant shared jazz program, exploring the styles of jazz, blues, and funk through wind instruments, strings, rhythm section, vocals, and choir.

The SOI Music Academy Orchestra, known for its strong foundation in Western classical music and contemporary performance training, adds depth, versatility, and dynamic orchestral colour to this collaboration. Their musicians bring precision, expressiveness, and youthful energy, creating a powerful dialogue with JuBand’s jazz-driven artistry.

This collaboration highlights jazz as a universal language that transcends borders, uniting cultures, generations, and countries through shared musical expression.
