(AAIYE KHUSHIYAN KA JASHN MANAYE)

An NCPA Off-Stage Presentation in collaboration with Theatrix

Now New stories, new performers in Hindi.

This time laughter has new language.

EK FILM KATHA
Writer: HARISHANKAR PARSAI
Performer: PRATIK RAJEN KOTHARI

Ek Film Katha is a laugh-out-loud parody of the highly predictable, formulaic, and clichéd nature of commercial Bollywood cinema (especially of the 1970s and 80s).

He brings Parsai’s written words to life with high-energy acting, voice modulation, and facial expressions, mocking the melodrama of classic Indian cinema while celebrating the cadence and music of the Hindi language.

HAMAR DEVARJI
Writer: NITISH CHOUBEY – HUSEINI DAWAWALA
Performer: NANDINI SHARMA
Sister in Law is worried for the marriage of his husband’s brother, and she tries every possible way.

DOCTOR’S DIARY
Writer: DR. PREETI JARIWALA
Performer: DR. PREETI JARIWALA

She records her experience in the clinic, where her sense of humour connect with patients. Her diary captures light hearted and humorous encounters in medical practice.

S.T. BUS
Writer: P.L. DESHPANDE
Performer: YASH PEDNEKAR

What starts as a simple bus ride back home turns into an unexpected comedy of chaos.

A packed bus, eccentric passengers, and one much unexpected encounter with a buffalo set off a bizarre chain of events.

As the chaos unfolds around the buffalo, the journey takes turns no one saw coming.

A hilarious, unpredictable ride where the buffalo might just steal the show.
