A Mehli Mehta Music Foundation Presentation

In January this year, Russian soprano Julia Muzychenko-Greenhalgh won the first prize at the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition 2025. She has also been a prizewinner at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, trained at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and the Berlin Hochschule for Music, and has won top honours at the Montserrat Caballé, Voci Verdiane, Ópera de Tenerife and Rachmaninov Competitions. She has performed as Musetta in La Bohème, Liu in Turandot, Gilda in Rigoletto and Zerlina in Don Giovanni, among many other roles.

Born in Irkutsk, Russia Ilya Rashkovskiy debuted at the age of eight with the Irkutsk Chamber Orchestra and has since won top prizes at the Hong Kong, Hamamatsu, Long–Thibaud, Rubinstein and Queen Elisabeth competitions. He has performed with major orchestras, including L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Mariinsky, Gulbenkian and Czech National Symphony orchestras, in renowned venues like the Concertgebouw, Salle Playel, Suntory Hall and The Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. He is active as a chamber musician and has collaborated with Akiko Suwanai, Sayaka Shoji, Gary Hoffman and the Borodin Quartet.

His recordings include the complete Chopin Études and Scriabin Sonatas.

The programme includes songs and beloved operatic arias.
