Gujarati Musical Play

The Musical is a Gujarati musical featuring 16 traditional Lagna Geet reimagined by Parth Bharat Thakkar. The show combines humor, heart and melody in a story that bridges generations.

Set against the backdrop of a wedding that nobody really wants—especially not the bride and groom! The song performances are interwoven by humorous and emotional dialogues performed by the two actors. This musical is planned as an interactive show involving the audience.

It is about two unforgettable characters and music that flows along – Ojas – A London-based cardiologist, Vyoma – A high-spirited fashion influencer. Both are fiercely independent, confident and disinterested in arranged marriage. But what unfolds at their big-fat Gujarati wedding will leave audiences in splits, nostalgia and awe powered by iconic wedding songs they grew up hearing.
