Varun Grover – stand-up solo

Hindi (with occasional English)

NCPA off Stage Presentation in Collaboration with Varun Grover &Flipsyde

National Award-winning writer, director, lyricist, and comedian Varun Grover brings his latest stand-up solo Love, Death & Ketchup to global audiences following multiple sold-out runs across India, a US tour, a Dubai performance, and ongoing international dates, with upcoming shows across the UK and Europe.

Known for his distinct voice across stand-up, cinema, and writing, Grover has built a reputation for combining sharp observation with deeply personal storytelling. His work, spanning acclaimed film writing, songwriting, and long form comedy, sits at the intersection of humor and cultural reflection, engaging audiences with both wit and emotional depth.

Love, Death & Ketchup is his most personal and structurally experimental show to date. Built around two of his most irrational fears, death, and the world running out of ketchup, the show moves through morbid, absurd, and unexpectedly tender stories drawn from his own life. What begins in humor gradually unfolds into something more layered: a meditation on anxiety, memory, and the strange logic of everyday existence.

With a performance style that is intimate, unhurried, and sharply observant, Grover creates a space where comedy and reflection coexist, making the show as thought-provoking as it is entertaining.
