Forrest Gump (1994), directed by Robert Zemeckis, is a touching and inspirational film that tells the life story of a simple and kind-hearted man named Forrest Gump. Tom Hank gives an astonishing performance as Forrest in this acclaimed film that rocketed to box-office history and touched the hearts of filmgoers around the world.

The cast also features Robin Wright as Jenny Curran, Forrest’s troubled childhood friend and lifelong love; Gary Sinise as Lieutenant Dan Taylor, a bitter Vietnam War veteran who undergoes a powerful transformation and Sally Field as Forrest’s devoted mother, whos wisdom and unconditional love guide him throughout his life.

Through three turbulent decades, Forrest rides a tide of events that whisks him from physical disability to football stardom, from Vietnam hero to shrimp tycoon, from White House honours to the arms of his one true love.
