Sabrina (1995) is a romantic drama directed by Sydney Pollack, offering a modern retelling of the 1954 classic. The film follows Sabrina Fairchild (Julia Ormond), the shy daughter of a chauffeur for the wealthy Larrabee family. Growing up on the family’s Long Island estate, she harbours an unspoken love for David Larrabee (Greg Kinnear), the charming but irresponsible younger son.
After a transformative trip to Paris, Sabrina returns as a confident, elegant woman, catching David’s eye for the first time. However, David’s older brother Linus (Harrison Ford), a serious and business-minded executive, sees Sabrina as a threat to an important corporate merger and begins to intervene—only to find himself unexpectedly drawn to her.
