An NCPA Presentation in collaboration with Ideas Unlimited Productions

Dedicated to Parsi theatre, this play explores the untold story of Ratanbai ‘Ruttie’ Petit and the turn of events that led to her elopement with Mohammed Ali Jinnah, one of the most controversial leaders of the era. Nicknamed ‘Flower of Bombay’ by the city’s high society, Ruttie was young, well-read and the daughter of a baronet. Jinnah on the other hand, was a much older politician from a completely different background. Find out what happens when Ruttie defies her family and society and marries Jinnah in the Mumbai premiere of Bombay Flower.
