A Tribute to Legendary Indian Composers

Supported by HSBC India

Initially planned during August 2020 amid the Mumbai rains, we are now presenting this festival during the winter of 2022. The two-day event will showcase some of the most treasured works of the great composers of Indian music, presented by eminent artistes.

Ajoy Chakrabarty

Kazi Nazrul Islam and Lalon Fakir are two iconic Bangla poet-philosophers who have had a far-reaching impact on the socio-cultural fabric of Bengal. Gulzar, the celebrated poet, will recite his Hindi translations of selected works of both these “rebel” poets. Ajoy Chakrabarty, the multidimensional vocalist, will perform some select compositions of Kazi Nazrul as well as Lalon Fakir.
