Supported by HSBC India
Indian music centres around a well structured melodic and rhythmic composition known as bandish. It represents a central idea or base upon which the edifice of a performance is sculpted and realised. The three-day festival will showcase some of the most treasured works of great composers of pre-independence as well as post-independence eras in the history of India. Some eminent artistes will present select compositions spanning wide-ranging genres of Indian music.
