Matthew Whitaker has lived a musical life richer than artists twice his age. This Hackensack, NJ musician, who started as a promising and prolific prodigy like Stevie Wonder and Billy Preston, became a protean and prestigious professional, who stunned the music world with his limitless virtuosity on piano, keyboards, organ and drums. Whitaker also appeared as a guest soloist for the Aspen Chamber Symphony, the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, and he composed a song for the 82-piece Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Veronica Swift the jazz and bebop singer, recorded her debut album Veronica’s House of Jazz at the age of 9, she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in jazz voice in 2016. Now 27, she not only possesses one of the strongest, clearest voices in jazz, but she deploys it with style, wit, and expert phrasing and nuance. Swift has established herself, working with a number of artists including Chris Botti, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Benny Green, Emmet Cohen and Michael Feinstein. She released her major label debut, Confessions in 2019, followed by This Bitter Earth in 2021. Swift is at a place in her artistic life where she can express all of the inventions, dimensions and influences that make her who she is.
