Trimitee is a Kathak presentation celebrates the form’s virtuosity, lyricism, and expressional depth. Seamlessly blending tradition with a contemporary sensibility, the performance brings together technical dynamism, nuanced abhinaya, and layered storytelling.
Woven into a single cohesive composition in *Raag Hameer, the evening unfolds through Krishna Vandana, Taal Teentaal, and Tarana. Pramod Wagh embodies the extraordinary life of Saint Bamakhepa of Bengal—the ‘mad saint of Tarapeeth’—while Shraddha Mukhade evokes the bhajan Prabal Prem ke Paale Padkar, by Bindu Goswami ji, reflecting the boundless greatness of the Divine. Through narratives envisioned by Guru Shama tai, the performance recalls moving episodes where God bends cosmic rules for devoted souls such as Pundalik, Kanaka Dasa etc. The presentation culminates in a distinctive bhajan-numa Tarana by Nayan Kohale, offering a resonant and uplifting conclusion.

Set to a traditional varnam composed by Dandayuda Pani Pillai, the dancers weave present-day, real-life moments of young women reminiscing about their parents, gradually awakening to their true value and presence in their lives.
