Kathak & Bharatanatyam
Online Lecture Demonstration by Piyush Chauhan & Suhail Bhan

Piyush Chauhan is a young, vivacious and gifted Kathak dancer. He belongs to the legendary Jaipur gharana of Kathak and has taken the art all over the world. Piyush started his journey at a young age when he started learning Tabla from his father Shri. Lalit Chauhan. He started learning Kathak from National Institute of Kathak Dance, New Delhi under the guidance of renowned Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani. Being one of the brightest young talents, he was awarded Merit Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Piyush has been a senior repertory member of Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company- Drishtikon Dance Foundation and has performed in various Indian and International Festivals under the direction of Aditi Mangaldas.

Suhail Bhan is a Bharatanatyam exponent, choreographer and a teacher. He is A graded Artist of Doordarshan. He combines grace and strength in a distinctive way that is both lyrical and dynamic . He is a Founder Director of Nrityabodhi Kala Kendra and also teaching Bharatanatyam to underprivileged kids. He has performed in various festivals in India and Abroad. He has been awarded by several prestigious organizations for his Contribution to the field of Bharatanatyam.
