Swarada Bhave, a nuanced and commanding Bharatanatyam artiste, received thorough training for over twenty years under her mother Smt. Swati Datar. She further strengthened her dance under Mythili Raghavan and later came under the tutelage of Vaibhav Arekar. She continues to learn from him gaining a deeper understanding of the various facets and intricacies of Bharatanatyam. With a Bachelor’s in Arts, Swarada has completed her master’s degree in Bharatanatyam from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. She is the recipient of Sawai Gandharva Scholarship and National Scholarship from Dept. of Culture and Centre for Cultural Resources and training, Govt. of India. As an intrinsic member of Vaibhav Arekar’s Sankhya Dance Company she has performed in all major productions. As a soloist she has performed in various festival like Natyarangam Festival’s (Chennai) monthly programmes, Festival organized by Mahagami Gurukul, Aurangabad ,Kalpataru Festival, Solapur, Bhavanjali- organised by Samved society and Smt. Uma Dogra, “Divya Triology” conceptualized by Dr. Smt. Usha Rk, The Endowment Programme of “The Music Academy, Chennai”, with Eesha Pinglay.  She has been the Assistant Director for the production “Shrimanta Yogi” of Sankhya dance company. Apart from teaching at her mother’s institute “Swarada Nritya Sanstha”, she is keenly interested in choreography. Apart from some smaller thematic presentations, her dance drama “Shreyakama” based on the life of Kaikeyi has been well received and performed in Chennai, Solapur, Pune etc. She has also choreographed a dance-drama based on Sapta-Chiranjeeva. Along with her colleague Eesha Pinglay, Swarada has choreographed a thematic presentation “Putanaa” which was premiered at “Madame Menaka Choreography Festival organised by Smt. Shama Bhate in Pune and was critically acclaimed by all the rasikas from Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc.

Mrinal Joshi is young vibrant dancer born and brought up in Mumbai. She is a graduate from the prestigious Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyala, Mumbai and has persuade post-graduation from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth,Pune. Under the tutelage of Guru Shri Vaibhav Arekar, a multifaceted international artist she is learning nuances of Abhinaya and advanced techique of performance. She forms a part of the core team of the Sankhya Dance Company, Mumbai founded by Shri Vaibhav Arekar and Shri Sushant Jadhav and started her professional career as a performer in 2015. She has performed not only in some of the lauded shows in India but also performs annually at Poland and US for Festival Indii with Viva Kultura since 2016. Mrinal is a principal dancer of the classic productions of Sankhya Dance Company like Trayyanta, Nama Mhane, Shrimanta Yogi, Abhanga Ranga, Shiva , Usha Aniruddha, Urvashi, Shringara-ranga, Nibandhana, Vasanth-greeshma-varsha-shishir-vasanth, along with her solo & duet performances at various festivals. She has to her credit, already, prestigious performances at Dhavli Festival (Bhubaneswar), Mudra Dance Festival (NCPA Mumbai), Abhivyakti Festival(Ahemdabad), Natyadarshan Festival and Dance for Dance Festival by Malvika Saruke(Chennai), Konark Festival(Konark), The Music Academy Festival(Chennai), Natyakala Conference 2019(Chennai) and the list is endless. She not only limits herself to a full-time performer but also, she has had an experience of training young students, armatures and professionals. She has also had the opportunity to reach out to school students through “Samvaad” program workshops as the lead event host where the students were made aware of the artform through interactive and brainstorming sessions.
