Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, known as “Jupiter”, was the last symphony written by him and is known for its energy and grand scale. It is widely considered one of the greatest symphonies ever written. (In a survey of 151 conductors conducted by BBC Music Magazine, it ranked third, behind Beethoven’s Third and Ninth.)
This concert led by Music Director Marat Bisengaliev was part of the NCPA’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
This performance was recorded live on November 26, 2019 at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA.
