Swanand Kirkire’s Baawra Live 

Widely celebrated for over two decades for his distinctively evocative lyrics and emotive voice, Swanand Kirkire is a multifaceted personality. He is an award-winning lyricist, playback singer, actor and a writer for Hindi and Marathi films. A recipient of numerous awards, his lyrics for songs in films such as Parineeta, Masaan, 3 Idiots, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and many more are well-recognised.

Baawra is Kirkire’s live music endeavour which encourages the audience to be part of the performance, leading to sing-along concerts. It is an open, interactive experience where familiar lyrics become a shared voice. Performed with a dynamic band, the presentation is rooted in simplicity, emotion and heartfelt songwriting. With a song list that spans decades and styles, Baawra connects across generations.

In this presentation, Kirkire will perform some of his original compositions and well-known film songs, blending soulful music with storytelling to take the audience through a journey full of nostalgia and lyrical extravaganza.
