An NCPA Library Presentation with Million Dollar Confidence

Join us for the launch of Sunrise over Valivade, an evocative memoir by Susheel Gajwani, based on the li Improves of Sindhi refugees in Valivade, Kolhapur, after the Partition of India. This poignant book narrates a tale of heartbreak, loss, resilience and the determination of individuals who rebuilt their lives after tragedy. The evening will feature dramatised readings from the book.

Explore themes of survival, cultural identity and the pursuit of dignity, as the story of the Sindhi community’s journey unfolds.
