An NCPA Library Presentation

ChaitraYes, I Need to Share is a Marathi programme celebrating the art of storytelling through collective readings. Artistes including Vishwas Mahashabde, Chitra Wagh, Ashish Joshi, Vivek Joshi, Latika Sawant and Prakash Bhatawadekar will share stories from select books, exploring themes that range from poignancy and satire to powerful social messages.

Featured books include celebrated titles and writings such as 32 Heart Beats by Prakash Velenkar, Dharmik by Anil Avchat, Ek Shahwat Satya by Suhas Desai, Mohtarma te Amma by Sudha Gokhale, Tuza Problem Kay Ahe Mitra by Vinay Narayan, Chiri Miri by Arun Kolatkar, He Sarwa Kothun Yete by Vijay Tendulkar and Ramnagari by Ram Nagarkar.

The title Chaitra signifies renewal, awakening and the vibrant energy of the first month of the Hindu calendar, embodying fresh beginnings and creative expression.

This programme invites audiences to revel in the beauty of Marathi literature.
