दृष्यभान  (Drishyabhan) – When Images Find Words
Dramatised Reading

An NCPA Library Presentation

Page to Stage presents Drishyabhan, a photographic book by Milind Dhere, in a way it has never been experienced before.

Drishyabhan means a deep awareness of visuals that goes beyond simply seeing. It reflects sensitivity to images, where what is seen is also felt and understood. This is not a conventional book reading. For the first time, a dramatised reading will emerge from a visual book where photographs themselves become the text. The photographs invite viewers to pause and observe them like paintings through textures, forms, colours and the play of light and shadow. Each image holds a story, which in this presentation, finds expression.

Renowned singer Chaitrali Abhyankar and advocate and well-known anchor Amit Date will bring these images to life. The evening will be graced by the presence of the eminent writer Dr. Aruna Dhere.

Entry free on a first come, first served basis.
