A Marathi Ghazal Recitation

An NCPA Library in collaboration with Granthali Presents

Renowned Marathi ghazal luminary Chandrashekhar Sanekar will present a soulful ghazal reading of his book, Eka Unhachi Kaifiyat. With over forty years of experience, Sanekar has enriched the literary landscape with six ghazal collections, ten published books and acclaimed contributions as a lyricist for both film and independent music. His innovative approach is evident in nearly 45 of his experimental ghazal recitals under Ghazal Talkies.

The event also honours the pioneering spirit of Suresh Bhat, a seminal figure in Marathi ghazal. This is an evening where the traditional poetic form will meet modern sensibilities, offering a blend of emotion and artistry.
