Granth Sangati – A Journey Through Words and Lives
Girish Karnad’s Khelta Khelta Aayushya

An NCPA Library Presentation in collaboration with Bodhgaya Production and Maharashtra Ekta Abhiyan

Granth Sangati is a unique, year-long, author-reader interaction series in Marathi, conceptualised by Kunal Rege. This monthly series aims to create a vibrant platform where literature lovers can engage directly with renowned authors, fostering meaningful conversations and lasting inspiration.

The inaugural session will spotlight Khelta Khelta Aayushya, the Marathi translation of Girish Karnad’s compelling autobiography. The translation, masterfully done by acclaimed author and translator Uma Kulkarni, brings Karnad’s fearless introspections and candid storytelling to Marathi readers.

Titled ‘Mala Umaglele Karnad’, the discussion will feature Uma Kulkarni and celebrated theatre director Vijay Kenkre, who will delve into Karnad’s rich life journey, exploring his legacy as a playwright, director and actor.
