An NCPA Library Presentation

On the occasion of Hindi Bhasha Diwas, the NCPA’s Page to Stage celebrates the works of renowned Hindi author Mannu Bhandari, which delve into the emotional and psychological fabric of modern Indian life. Known for classics like Yahi Sach Hai (filmed as Rajnigandha), Bhandari’s narratives reflect a woman’s quiet strength and introspective dilemmas.

The dramatised reading, conceptualised by Sonu Anand, includes highlights from Bhandari’s short stories, interwoven with Kabir’s couplets recited by Raghvendra and Anamika Naidu, the empowering short story ‘Stree Subodhini’ read by Anamika Naidu and Neha Taur, and excerpts from Rajnigandha performed by Neha Bahuguna, Rachna Gupta, Ankur Parekh and including live renditions of melodies from the film by Karvy.

Entry free on a first-come-first-served basis.
