An NCPA Library Presentation

As part of Page to Stage, the reading presentation of कल्पिताचे शब्द : न पाठवलेली पत्रे   (Kalpitache Shabd: Na Pathavleli  Patre (Words Imagined, Letters Unsent) brings alive a unique literary concept through performance and narration.

Edited by poet and writer Swanand Bedekar, the anthology features imagined letters written by contemporary authors to iconic personalities from literature, music, history, and social reform.

These “unsent letters” create an intimate dialogue across generations, blending memory, imagination, admiration, and reflection. Addressed to legendary figures such as Kalidasa, Sant Tukaram, Vijay Tendulkar, Namdeo Dhasal and many more, the letters revisit cultural legacies through a contemporary lens.

The programme will feature senior poet Dr. Aruna Dhere, noted fiction writer Monika Gajendragadkar, and narrator Piyu Shirwadkar Arole.

Combining literature with performance, the evening promises a reflective and emotionally engaging experience for audiences.

Entry free on a first come, first served basis.
