An NCPA Library Presentation

This compelling Marathi abhivachan (dramatised reading) of ‘Mori Nind Nasani Hoy’, featuring ‘Tujhya Nadane Pahili Tujhich Re Pandhari’, is a poignant soliloquy between a son and his deceased mill-worker father by the legendary writer Jayant Pawar. His mastery of human emotions and relationships shines through in this confessional and reflective narrative, which explores love, longing and reconciliation.

Pawar, who was also a renowned playwright and journalist, was known for his realistic portrayal of Mumbai’s working class, and his literary works continue to resonate across generations.

Renowned theatre artist Prajakt Deshmukh, celebrated for his versatility and expressive voice, will bring this powerful text to life.
