Guided Listening Session
Roshan Yaadein

An NCPA Library Presentation

Roshanlal Nagrath, fondly known as Roshan, remains one of the most under-celebrated composers of Indian cinema. In a remarkably brief creative journey from 1949 to 1967, he crafted musical gems for landmark Hindi films such as Malhar, Barsaat Ki Raat, Chitralekha and Mamta.

This guided listening session, conducted by Archisman Mozumder and Kushal Gopalka, revisits Roshan’s timeless artistry through unforgettable songs like ‘Zindagi Bhar Nahin’, ‘Chhupa Lo Yun Dil Mein’ and ‘Sari Sari Raat Teri Yaad Sataye’.

This listening session offers a reflective journey into the lyrical depth and melodic elegance of a luminous composer.
