An NCPA Library Presentation
Seetechi Goshta is a powerful long-form narrative by award-winning Marathi writer Dr. Aruna Dhere. The story delves into Sita’s emotional and spiritual journey after being abandoned by Rama. It explores the unspoken moments of her life spent in Valmiki’s hermitage, the thoughts that stirred in her mind and the emotional turmoil she faced.
This literary presentation features a dramatised abhiwachan (reading) of Seetechi Goshta, followed by a discussion. The session will be presented by scholar, storyteller, editor of the book and performer Dr. Vandana Bokil-Kulkarni.
