A poetic symphony, an ode to the timeless soul of Marathi literature

An NCPA Library Presentation in collaboration with Akshar-Kavya Samuha

Utsav Shabdsurancha – Dhyas Marathicha brings together verse, melody and memory for a tribute to Maharashtra’s poetic legacy. The evening will feature evocative writings of Kusumagraj, Mangesh Padgaonkar, Vinda Karandikar, Shanta Shelke, Suresh Bhat, Indira Sant, Borkar and others.

The works, brought to life with personal anecdotes and lyrical narration evoking nostalgia and cultural pride, will be performed by a talented ensemble including Sheetal Deshpande, Pallavi Deshpande, Supriya Deshpande, Kshama Khadtarkar, Sayali Degwekar and Pragnya Lalingkar with live music by Pramod Jadhav on synthesiser and Venkatesh Kulkarni on percussion.
